This Privacy Policy explains how GreenFlip Eco Solutions Private Limited (CIN U93000DL2009PTC197209), the company that operates GreenFlip ("GreenFlip", "we", "us"), handles personal data collected through https://www.greenflip.org and related services. By using the site or submitting a request for quote (RFQ) or supplier application, you agree to this Policy.

1. Who we are (data controller)

The data controller is GreenFlip Eco Solutions Private Limited, a Private Limited Company incorporated in 2009 and registered with RoC-Delhi, Delhi, India. For any privacy request, contact hello@greenflip.org.

2. Information we collect

RFQ / buyer inquiries — name, work email, company, country/region, and sourcing requirements (origin, craft, quantity, materials, customization, destination). Provided via our RFQ form.
Supplier applications — business name, contact person, email/phone, location, website, product categories, MOQ, pricing, lead time, certifications, and any evidence you submit via List your business.
Communications — emails and messages you send us, and our replies.
Technical & usage data — IP address, device/browser type, pages viewed, and referring URLs, collected in aggregate for security and analytics. We do not set non-essential tracking cookies without consent.

We do not knowingly collect data from children, and we do not seek sensitive personal data. Please do not include it in free-text fields.

3. How and why we use it (purposes & legal bases)

To route your RFQ to 1–5 matched suppliers and facilitate contact — performance of a contract / your request.
To review and publish supplier listings and verify credentials — legitimate interests and your request.
To respond to inquiries and provide support — legitimate interests / your request.
To improve our content, supplier matching, and site security — legitimate interests.
To send service and sourcing updates — consent or legitimate interests; you can opt out at any time.
To comply with legal, tax, and regulatory obligations — legal obligation.

4. Sharing and disclosure

We share your RFQ details only with the suppliers we route you to, so they can quote. Supplier application details, once approved, form your public listing. We also use trusted processors (hosting, email/form delivery, analytics) bound by confidentiality and data-processing terms. We may disclose data where required by law or to protect our rights. We never sell your personal data.

5. International transfers

GreenFlip serves buyers and suppliers worldwide, and our operating entity is based in India. Your data may be processed in India and other countries. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) for cross-border transfers.

6. Retention

We keep RFQ and application data for as long as needed to provide the service and for a reasonable period afterward for legitimate business, legal, and audit purposes, then delete or anonymize it. You may request earlier deletion (see below).

7. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict processing of your data, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent. Under the EU/UK GDPR, California CCPA/CPRA, and India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP) 2023, these rights apply as provided by law. To exercise them, email hello@greenflip.org; we respond within the timeframes required by applicable law. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

We use essential cookies for basic site function and, where you consent, limited analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

We may update this Policy; the "last updated" date reflects the latest version. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
