What we do

Buyers come to us with a commercial requirement — a differentiated homeware collection within a purchasing budget and landed cost, or a run of branded gifts that must arrive before an event. We turn that requirement into an executable sourcing plan, find and check suitable supply, coordinate quotations and sampling, and support the order through inspection and delivery.

1. Clarify the brief. We confirm the product, quantity, destination, arrival date, budget, acceptance criteria and who approves the order.
2. Test feasibility. We check whether the brief can be met as written, and say so early when the date, budget or quantity needs to change.
3. Obtain comparable quotations. We request dated quotations against the same specification, quantity, packaging, payment schedule and delivery term, and show what each one leaves out.
4. Approve samples. Samples are made to the agreed specification and the approved one becomes the reference for production.
5. Agree order terms. You contract with and pay the supplier directly, on terms you have reviewed.
6. Production and inspection. We track milestones and arrange inspection against the approved sample, tolerances and defect definitions.
7. Delivery and exceptions. We follow the shipment to your door and help resolve exceptions, then keep the specification ready for the repeat order.

How we charge

The initial assessment of your brief is free. Development and execution work is paid, at a fee and fee basis agreed in writing for each brief before work starts. You contract with and pay suppliers directly; samples, testing, inspection and freight are paid by you or included in the agreed scope. Any commission a supplier pays GreenFlip is disclosed to you and never affects which supplier we recommend.

Sourcing standards

Working across 12 origins means we cannot apply one checklist everywhere: a Denominación de Origen matters in Puebla, a GI registration in Kashmir, a CITES permit on shell and hardwood from Southeast Asia, and none of them substitute for each other. What is constant is the standard of proof. A supplier reaches verified only when its legal entity, domain control, physical address, production capability, certifications, references, and written commercial terms have each been checked, dated, and attributed — and that evidence is published on the profile so buyers can repeat any check. Every check lapses after twelve months. Until a profile clears all of them it publishes no MOQ, price, or lead time and stays out of the search index, which is why most of our records are still labelled as research leads rather than verified vendors. What GreenFlip is not

We are a sourcing desk working for the buyer, not a marketplace and not a trading house.

• We do not take title to goods or hold stock.
• We do not finance inventory or guarantee supplier payment or performance.
• We do not sell placement: a supplier cannot pay to be recommended.
• We do not mark a supplier verified until the evidence is on file.

Your purchase contract, your payment terms and your recourse are with the supplier, and nothing published here forms part of that contract — a dated quotation recorded against a supplier profile is evidence that a figure was given to us for a defined specification, not an offer made to you. What we undertake for a paid brief is set out in the written scope agreed before work starts.

Nor are we a compliance service. The guides explain how customs classification, product-safety rules and material controls work in general terms and name the authority that owns each answer, but they do not state rates, limits or deadlines, and they are not advice on your shipment. Buyers importing for the first time should engage a licensed customs broker in the destination market before committing to an order.

The honest summary of the file itself: most records are leads, not vendors. A record becomes verified only after every applicable check has passed and been dated, and until then it publishes no minimum order quantity, price or lead time, and stays out of the search index. That keeps the published file small; the sourcing work for a brief goes beyond it.
