Preferred certifications
- Fair Trade USA / Fairtrade International — price floor and social premium
- BSCI / SEDEX — social compliance audits
- ISO 9001 — quality management
- Geographical Indication (GI) tags — cultural provenance (e.g. Pashmina, Dhokra, Talavera)
- FSC — for wood / rattan / bamboo
- UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage — for craft traditions (e.g. Indonesian batik)
Provenance documentation
A public claim is not proof of cultural provenance. For verified records, GreenFlip seeks the country of manufacture, artisan cluster or workshop, material origin, and evidence for any GI or protected-name claim before exposing it as validated structured data.
What you can do
When you submit an RFQ, specify "fair-trade preferred" — we'll prioritize fair-trade-certified suppliers in the match. For museum/gallery buyers, we can also provide cultural documentation and storytelling assets.
